Calla lilies and anthuriums are considered toxic to pets. While the flowers are safe when simply displayed in a vase, unwanted effects may occur if a pet decides to chew on them. For homes with animals, we recommend considering safer flower options.
After purchase, trim 1–2 cm from the stems and place the flowers in clean, room-temperature water. For calla lilies, it is best to use a tall vase. Change the water every 2–3 days and refresh the cut stems regularly to help them absorb moisture. Keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, drafts, and fruit to help them stay fresh, firm, and beautiful for longer. If dust appears on the anthuriums, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
