Panicum is considered non-toxic to pets, but like any plant, it’s best not to let them actively chew it.
After purchase, trim 1–2 cm off the stems and place panicum in a vase with clean, cool water. Remove any leaves below the water line and change the water every 2–3 days, slightly retrimming the stems if needed. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources — panicum is low-maintenance, holds its shape well and can gradually dry while staying decorative.
