Eucalyptus is not safe for homes with pets. It contains essential oils that are toxic if ingested (especially for cats), and its scent may irritate airways even without contact. Dried eucalyptus is also not safe.

Flower care

Eucalyptus keeps best in clean water and a cool place. After purchase, trim stems by 1–2 cm and place branches in fresh water. Change the water every 2–3 days and rinse the vase. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources. As it dries, eucalyptus can be used as a dried flower, retaining its shape.
