White lily

After purchase, trim the stems by 1–2 cm and place the lilies in clean, cool water. Change the water every 1–2 days and keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, and drafts — in cooler conditions, lilies open more slowly and stay fresh longer. The buds open gradually, so over time the flower becomes even fuller and more fragrant. If the scent feels too strong, you can carefully remove the pollen-covered stamens — this will soften the fragrance and prevent pollen from staining petals and surfaces.
