If you have pets at home, it’s best to keep chrysanthemums out of their reach, especially if they like to nibble on plants 🐾
After receiving, trim 1–2 cm from the stems and place the chrysanthemums in clean water. Remove any leaves that may be submerged. Chrysanthemums can make the water cloudy quite quickly, so change it every day and rinse the vase thoroughly. If a slippery residue appears on the stems, gently rinse them under running water and trim the stems slightly again. Keep the flowers in a cool place away from direct sunlight, radiators and fruit. If the lower petals start to dry out, you can gently remove them. Chrysanthemums continue to open in the vase and gradually become even fuller.
