Alstroemeria prefers clean water and cool conditions. Immediately after purchase, trim the stems by 1–2 cm and place the flowers in fresh water; it’s best to rinse the vase thoroughly each time, as cleanliness is important for alstroemeria. Change the water daily and keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, and fruit.
