The flower is not considered toxic to cats or dogs, but it cannot be called fully safe. Due to its rigid structure and many springy elements, ingestion may irritate the mucous membranes and cause discomfort in animals. It is best to place it out of reach of pets, especially those that like to chew on plants.
The flower prefers clean water and a cool place. After purchase, trim the stems by 1–2 cm and place them in fresh water. Change the water every 2–3 days and rinse the vase. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
